The IEEE-NANOMED special issue in Nanomedicine is “invitation” only as described in the IEEE-NANOMED 2012 webpage (http://www.ieee-nanomed.org/2012/publication/). To maintain coherence in the scope of the journal, the editor of Nanomedicine for IEEE-NANOMED special chapter/issue will solicit papers from selected IEEE-NANOMED 2012 attendees. We expect papers of obvious relevance to the community that describe important new concepts, underpin understanding of the field of nanomedicine or provide important insights into their practical applications. The solicitation will be out by the end of December, 2012.

Scope
The 6th IEEE International Conference on Nano/Molecular Medicine and Engineering (IEEE NANOMED 2012) will be held at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand from November 4-7, 2012. IEEE NANOMED is one of the premier annual events organized by the IEEE Nanotechnology Council to bring together physicians, scientists and engineers in the area of Nano/Molecular Medicine and Engineering. The conference provides a unique forum for reporting latest research results in molecular engineering, microfluidics, nanotechnology, system integration, fundamental biology, and translational medicine.

The deadline for late news paper submission is August 31, 2012. The technical program committee will inform you if your paper is accepted (either for oral or poster presentation) by Sept 10, 2012.
