There are two SA Express routes can let you move between downtown within 30 minutes, making six stops between Phayathai Station and the airport. It is the fastest way to get to downtown comparing to airport express buses and airport taxis. Get off at Makkasan City Interchange Station (MRT Petchaburi Station) to get yourself connected to the extensive railway network of Bangkok.

Traveling around the Bangkok
The most common transportation in Bangkok includes skyline railway (BTS), underground railway (MRT), taxis, tuk-tuks, boats and ferries.

Within various transports, taking the train is the best way to travel swiftly around Bangkok. BTS, and MRT connects you to most business, entertainment and shopping areas in Bangkok while avoiding the heavily congested road traffic. However, if you wish to travel to attractions farther from the city center, taxis will be the most accessible and cheap way. You can find taxis in virtually every corners in Bangkok. However, make sure the drivers start their meters, request for a receipt and count the change carefully. Even from airport to city center, it wont cost you more than 250 baht.

Although tuk-tuk might be slower, it is yet another experience to travel around the city. Bear in mind that tuk-tuk drivers would always want to charge you for more, and they often start with a price far more expensive than other means. Make a reasonable bargain before getting on any tuk-tuks. Moreover, Look out for tuk-tuk drivers that may approach you and persuade you forcefully to place that they claim promising.

Boats and Ferries
If you would like to travel to attraction and places along the Chao Phraya River, you could take express boats, river taxis found at piers along both riversides. There are ten major piers along the river, and you could also take Chao Phraya Express Boat ferries to move among these piers swiftly at low cost.
