{"id":186,"date":"2018-05-02T14:33:55","date_gmt":"2018-05-02T14:33:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ieee-nanomed.org\/2018\/?page_id=186"},"modified":"2018-05-08T19:13:49","modified_gmt":"2018-05-08T19:13:49","slug":"new-innovators-in-nanomed","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.ieee-nanomed.org\/2018\/awards-2\/new-innovators-in-nanomed\/","title":{"rendered":"New Innovators in NANOMED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Call for Nomination<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview.\u00a0 <\/strong>We introduce the New Innovators in NANOMED to recognize the contributions of individuals who have demonstrated exceptional technical advancement and innovation in the field of Nano\/Molecular Medicine and Engineering in their early career.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>(1)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> The award recipient must be within 10 years (2009 or after) of receiving his\/her highest degree.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>(2)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Nomination:<\/strong> Anyone may nominate an early stage investigator to enter the selection process. \u00a0Self-nomination is welcome.\u00a0 Nominator should complete a 500-word summary of the investigator\u2019s technical achievement. The nominator should also provide a 100-word summary of the investigator\u2019s contribution (e.g., participation, abstract submission, and invited session organization) to the IEEE NANOMED community.\u00a0 Submit the summary along with the investigator\u2019s CV to the General Chair Prof. Pak Kin Wong (pak@engr.psu.edu<u>)<\/u>\u00a0by July 1, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>(3)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Selection process:<\/strong> The nomination will be forwarded to the award committee for the selection process.
