{"id":182,"date":"2019-03-18T05:43:55","date_gmt":"2019-03-18T05:43:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ieee-nanomed.org\/2019\/?page_id=182"},"modified":"2019-07-08T08:41:32","modified_gmt":"2019-07-08T08:41:32","slug":"new-innovators-in-nanomed","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.ieee-nanomed.org\/2019\/new-innovators-in-nanomed\/","title":{"rendered":"New Innovators in NANOMED"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Call for Nomination<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overview.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>We introduce the New Innovators in NANOMED to recognize the contributions of individuals who have demonstrated exceptional technical advancement and innovation in the field of Nano\/Molecular Medicine and Engineering in their early career.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;The award recipient must be within 10 years (2009 or after) of receiving his\/her highest degree.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Nomination:<\/strong> Anyone may nominate an early stage investigator to enter the selection process. Self-nomination is welcome. Nominator should (a) complete a 500-word summary of the investigator\u2019s technical achievement and (b) provide a 100-word summary of the investigator\u2019s contribution (e.g., participation, abstract submission, and invited session organization) to the IEEE-NANOMED community. Submit the summaries along with the investigator\u2019s CV to: General Chair Prof. Jin-Woo Kim (jwkim@uark.edu) by <strong>August 15, 2019<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Selection process:<\/strong> The nomination will be forwarded to the award committee for the selection process. The award committee will select the New Innovators in NANOMED based on the following criteria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Significance<\/li><li>Innovation<\/li><li>Impact<\/li><li>Contribution to the IEEE-NANOMED community <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(4)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Announcement:<\/strong> Innovators will be announced in the conference website. The Innovators will be presented in the \u201cNew Innovators in NANOMED\u201d session in the IEEE-NANOMED 2019.
