Call for Nomination
Overview. We introduce the New Innovators in NANOMED to recognize the contributions of individuals who have demonstrated exceptional technical advancement and innovation in the field of Nano/Molecular Medicine and Engineering in their early career.
(1) Eligibility: The award recipient must be within 10 years (2009 or after) of receiving his/her highest degree.
(2) Nomination: Anyone may nominate an early stage investigator to enter the selection process. Self-nomination is welcome. Nominator should (a) complete a 500-word summary of the investigator’s technical achievement and (b) provide a 100-word summary of the investigator’s contribution (e.g., participation, abstract submission, and invited session organization) to the IEEE-NANOMED community. Submit the summaries along with the investigator’s CV to: General Chair Prof. Jin-Woo Kim (jwkim@uark.edu) by August 15, 2019.
(3) Selection process: The nomination will be forwarded to the award committee for the selection process. The award committee will select the New Innovators in NANOMED based on the following criteria.

- Innovation
- Impact
- Contribution to the IEEE-NANOMED community
(4) Announcement: Innovators will be announced in the conference website. The Innovators will be presented in the “New Innovators in NANOMED” session in the IEEE-NANOMED 2019. The conference waives the registration fee and provides an honorarium for each innovator.
